A 30-minute nervous system nurturing, breath + movement class. (8 am PST M-F)

Why We’re Here

Social distancing IS our best chance at making a positive impact on the current national and world health crisis.

However, it also dampens the potential for two of the most critical aspects of maintaining our mental, emotional, and physical health by limiting movement and social engagement.

The good news:

We are extremely well-placed in time to keep both of these aspects alive and well in our daily lives…and more than that, we are being called to, forced to change our priorities to exactly these things.

Now more than ever we must move and we must rely on each other.

We CAN do both!

If You Can’t Make It…

If 8 am PST doesn’t work for you, pay for your class(es) and I’ll send you the recording. If it’s free to you, no need to pay. Email me at chantill@skillfulteaching.com.

What you will need…

  • Comfy clothes
  • A mat or blanket to sit and lie on
  • A small pillow or bath towel to help prop yourself up if needed

What would be helpful to have but not necessary…

  • A journal or notebook (to jot down thoughts, reflections, things you want to take away)
  • 2-4 balls:
    • 1-2 small balls of sorts: racquet, tennis, or the like
    • 1-2 medium soft balls: soccer, basketball will do or something softer like a beach ball or other kids kick-ball

What to expect…

Gentle on your heart and vigorous on your nervous system. We’ll engage in somatic (body-based) inquiry to strengthen our inward and outward awareness of ourselves and create greater access to feeling safe. We’ll exercise our adaptability through movement and breath, stimulate our brains and connective tissue for increased immune health. And above all, we’ll connect, laugh, enjoy, move, and strengthen our constitutions for BIGGER resilience, recovery, and responsiveness. This is our greatest opportunity to build a foundation of mental, physical, and emotional strength.

I hope you’ll join us. xo — Chantill
